Yes the Chicken Sandwich From Popeyes, is with out question, in the year 2019, one of New York City's Best Cheap Eats deals of all. NewYorkFoodiee.com has C&L Dumplings as their Top # 1 Best Cheaps Eats deal in all of New York, and it would be hard to dispute that, with 5 Pork Dumplings that will set you back a meager $1.75 for the bunch. Pretty dam good.
Those Dumplings are pretty good, but are they tastier than the Chicken Sandwich from Popeyes? We think not. So if you factor in Quailty & Cost, as just opposed to cost, maybe Popeyes Chicken Sandwich has C&L Dumplings beat?
As most of you know the Chicken Sandwich from Popeyes is absolutely Badass and a Tatsy Giant Killer, as for many, they Chopped Down Chick-fil-A for being The King of The Chicken Sandwich, and having the Best Tasting one in the business (Fast Food America). "Not!" Not any more. Popeyes has dethroned Chick-fil-A for having America's Favorite Chicken Sandwich. And what a Chicken Sandwich it is. You get a whole boneless chicken breast that's perfectly cooked, Crisp, Crunchy, and as tasty as can be, served with a high-quality super-tasty toasted Brioche Bun, slathered with a bit of Mayonnaise, and 3 sliced of Dill Pickle, the combined results is one Dam Tasty Chicken Sandwich, that many say, is the tastiest Chicken Sandwich of all.
So, anyway, back to the Best Cheapest Cheap Eats in all of New York, though double the price, it's still Cheap at just $3.99 a sandwich, and the value for the quality of this fine sandwich, you just can't beat. We give the Chicken Sandwich from Popeyes our Top # 1 Cheap Eats Winner in New York, "We Love It!"
