The sandwich that started the Chicken Sandwich Wars of 2019

It looks as the though Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen is drawing a more affluent client, ever since they released their hugely popular Fried Chicken Sandwich in the Summer of 2019. So popular in fact, that it went viral, created quite a Hulabaloo, sold out in a couple weeks, and started what is now known as The Chicken Sandwich Wars of 2019.

It all began when Popeye's came out with this super tasty new Fried Chicken Sandwiches. People went to Popeye's, got the new Popeye's Chicken Sandwich, and just "Love it." They began Tweeting about it on Twitter, stating how much they loved it, and many saying that it was way better than Chick-fil-A's chicken sandwich, which is adored all over the country, and has been more-or-less considered The King of The Chicken Sandwich in America. That is all until now, and the advent of Popeyes Chicken Sandwich, which most who have been lucky enough to have eaten one, say that it taste way better than Chick-fil-A's.

The people got on social media, and Tweeted on Twitter, that they are the original, no doubt their pride has been hurt. Then Wendy's tried to get in on the action, Tweeting about their chicken sandwich, "which Sucks," and so the Chicken Sandwich Wars began.

Oh so, now let me get back with a interesting little tidbit of info. I came across an article in Forbes Magazine, written by Micheline Maynard, where she points out that Popeye's Chicken Sandwich has a wealthier, younger demographic than  who usually eat at Popeye's, with Maynard noting that she noticed Cadillac's, Mini-Coopers, and Mercedes Benz cars in the parking lot at Popeye's.

Numerator stats have showed that Millinials and Gen Xers make up two-thirds of the customers who purchased the chicken sandwich, while Baby Boomers who make up Popeye's biggest demographic with 42% of Popeye's business coming from them.

This is all very interesting, and we will see what happens coming up. But all I really care about, is when is Popeyes Chicken Sandwich coming back, and when will I finally get my chance to taste one for myself?

Do You Know How The McRIB was Created ?

By the Army of The United States of America. Yes it was. The McRIB was technically created as a way to have combat rations that didn’t spoil too easily. “The McRib and, with a small modification, the McNugget are actually restructured meat, a food processing technique created by the U.S. Army in the 1960s to dramatically lower its food bill,” Marx de  Salcedo wrote. “Until then, most beef, lamb, and pork had been sold in carcasses, which were broken down by butchers in specialty shops or, increasingly, supermarkets.”

the McRib is especially appealing with its flavor and sauce, even though it might not look all that great under a microscope.  For the ribs used in combat, even if they’re technically “old,” they still don’t taste like they’ve expired due to the preservatives.  As Marx de Salcedo pointed out earlier, it’s commonly known best as restructured meat.

The Army was looking forward to buying prepackaged meats like the McRib because the meat used severely cut down on expenses. Sadly, when you’re eating meats like this, you’re not getting the good parts of the animal.

Of course, since the McRib is owned by McDonald’s, the product served in the Army and Navy isn’t given the same title. Still, the products have a ton in common.

So, even though it’s kind of wacky to find out about its origins, perhaps you now have a new reason to appreciate it. The next time the McRib comes back to town, you might want to think about how happy it makes our troops.

Keith Richards, Ron Wood, and Charlie Watts talk about the McRIB, how much they all love it, and how they were worried whether it would ever come back or not, as well as if their band The ROLLING STONES would ever tour again or not. They were quite worried as they love ordering tons of McRib Sndwiches for themselves and their crew wherever they are and when they're on the road doing concerts in various cities around the World, whether they're in New York, New Jersey, Philadelfia, Baltimore, Chicago, Boston, Sydney, Milan, Rio, or whereever, The Boys want their McRibs. Only problem, they never know wehn they can get them, so Keith Richards did some leg-work and came up with a solution. Keef found a recipe on how to make and re-create that awesome sandwich that the band just can't get enough of, the McDonalds McRIB Sandwich. Keff says, "the recipe is in The Badass Cookbook, and it's absolutley Badass. Problem solved.

Keith like to make McRibs at home for himself, his wife Patty and the kids, but he's not going to make them on the road for the band and their large crew, so the Rolling Stones have hired Chef Daniel Zwicke to tour with them and make McRibs, Chili, Buritos, Tacos, and other items the Rolling Stones like to eat when they're all on tour. Wow, Keith, what a brilliant idea.

McDonalds has No Chance what-so-ever to be a Player in the current fast-food Craze, The Chicken Sandwich Wars, which Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is Winning in a Big Way. Their Chicken Sandwich released last year didn't make much of a splash. Wendy's is talking trash, but their Chicken Sandwich absolutely and positively "SUCKS" ! McDONALDS only chance to compete in the Chicken Sandwich Wars is not to come out with a new Fried Chicken Sandwich of their own, but to release thier Beloved by Millions McRib Sandwich, and release it Nationwide. The McRIB always makes a big splash and is beloved by millions of adoring fans who quite literally just can't get enough of this tasty Pork Sandwich with its tangy BBQ Sauce, onions and Pickles and the look of a rack of ribs. It's just so Dam Tasty, people, like myself go absolutely nuts for the thing.

Oh yes I miss my beloved McRIB quite dearly. It's been 6 long years. Yes 6 years since I've sunk my teeth into that oh so wonderful treat, the McRIB. I along with so many millions who are fans of one of the greatest, tastiest, most scrumptious tasting sandwiches ever known to mankind. It has been along time to be deprived.
